Tyler has always been fascinated by space and the night sky. His journey into astrophotography began after attending SFU’s Starry Nights event at the Trottier Observatory, a spark that quickly grew into a true passion. Since then, he’s spent countless hours mastering telescope and camera setups, and refining the intricate process of turning hours of data into a single image that reveals the beauty of each deep-sky target.
Based in Vancouver, BC, Tyler often captures the universe right from his back deck, even in the challenging glow of a Bortle 9 sky.
